This page lets you browse the projects my friends and I worked on during the existence of the Azka Computer Club. As the only maintainer for most of them (see here for more info), I decided to rebrand them as deprecated, which means they are still fully functional and downloadable, but will not receive major updates. Feel free to try them, and drop an email if they are useful to you or if you find a bug we did not correct yet.
All the code you can find here is provided as is, without any warranty and, unless stated as a Web App, is developed for Microsoft Windows.
VideoDownloader
Our version of the usual common video and audio downloader. Common features include a playlist downloader, default versus manual override setting for every single setting of a download, and more. Designed for chainwork rather than ergonomics.

MusicTracker
If you listen to music mostly on YouTube or SoundCloud and you prefer to keep your music on our device instead of streaming it, this piece of code creates automatically a playlist made of all tracks you never listened to from a list of channels you can choose. Includes immediate download and other cool tools.

Aros
A project we worked on for the Clip Brest organization, dedicated to audio-visual and event-making. Its a Resource Organization Software, allowing them to manage their equipment and make reservations. Designed using the Google Apps Script platform, usable as a webapp. The sandbox is available here for you to try, drop an email if you’re interested in creating your instance (can be done on any Google Account)

InstallAssistant
Full-portable application made to act as an automated tutorial to help newbies to install complex applications (i.e. when more than one setup is needed, or if there’s a need to deal with ISOs, or to edit Registry, etc.) It includes a full-featured edition system and allows administrators to export a single self-extracting zipfile with all data embedded.

AAudioPlayer
AdvancedAudioPlayer provides a list of audiofiles that you can set up and customize, before playing them only using the spacebar. Useful for live shows where a quick and simple solution is needed, it allows to edit start and end point as well as fades durations.

AVideoPlayer
AdvancedVideoPlayer is the Video version of AAP. It provides a black window with only the content being broadcasted for your second screen and a control window with all video files displayed das a grid, and controls for playback. Several options are provided to integrate to congress centers, like temporary blacking-out the window or hide it.

Smart Tools
Those projects will not even be considered as “software” in the way that most of them only took about two hours and were designed to be used once and in a particular way. That means they were left as is as soon as we got them working on a particular context, without any more bug check. So they work, but might crash very easily and should be used very carefully.
- Windows Update, Get Out : finally an effective way to prevent Windows 10 from updating everyday. It just keeps stopping the Windows Update service and frequently checks to make sure it stays disabled.
- Routing Diagram Designer : a tool for sound engineers to create grids with inputs and outputs and mark which one is connected to what. Can be useful when designing a control room or switching of console.
- Reaper Yeelight Synchronizer : a way to connect the REAPER DAW to a Yeelight bulb and change its color depending if the software is in playback or recording mode.
- Realtime Editor : simple as 1.2.3, its a HTML / CSS / JS editor where everything you type into the left panel is immediately visible on the right one. Useful to test small projects on several platforms.
- SonoTek Lite : it’s a small tool that you can link to your master sound library folder. Once the indexing is done (when the software is started), you can then make extremely fast searches into your sounds and use the integrated player to find the perfect sound you need. Export includes Copy To or Show Full Path to help you find it into your DAW.
- Campaign : a Web App you can use to send multiple customized emails to a lot of recipients. Create a Template and use the fields to change some parts of your email depending who will receive it. Works on any Google account, without installation (the file access is requested to create and access the database spreadsheet file)
- MsgBeforeApp : it does exactly what you think. Make shortcuts to applications or files using this tool and it will display a message box before launching them.
- ScannerToPDF : this is basically a DOCXM file, you can open that with Microsoft Word 2010 or newer. The goal is to import automatically all pictures in a folder and then export the thing as a PDF.
- ServerIPFinder : once launched, gets the IP of the computer it’s launched on and sends it on mobile phones using a Macrodroid Hook. Check documentation on how to set up.
- AutoRename : replace something in a file name by another. For all files in a folder.
- AutoMove : creates a tunnel between two folders on your computer. Everything placed in the first one gets automatically copied or moved to the other one.
- FolderSync : by selecting two folders, you can apply different actions depending if a file is found in one folder, or both of them.
Disclaimer
Please note the following before downloading theses projetcs :
- Unless stated as a Web App, all of this work has been made using Visual Studio, and developed for Windows. Web Apps are either made of HTML / CSS / JS embedded in a HTML file, or developed on the Google Apps Script Platform.
- As theses projects are only small things made by amateur people on their freetime. we do not provide the autoupdate process or any installer. You’ll download directly the EXE file (or ZIP if more than one file are requested to allow the app to run) and you can place it everywhere you want on your computer.
- Some of those projects, mostly the SmartTools, have not been tested for all cases, we built the algorithms in one way, because we had not planned to publish them. If you test them, they may crash easily if you don’t use them exactly as they has been designed to work 🙂
- Of course, all of them are free, and without ads or any tracking or mining content. You might get an alert saying there’s a potential security risk when downloading them, it’s because they’re not often downloaded. Run as many antivirus analyzers you want, you should not find anything problematic.
- As previously said, this work is now deprecated. We will not focus on fixing bugs or implement new features. However, if you find a critical bug that prevents the software from running, feel free to email us! deprecated@asce-studio.com
